A Spiritual Event for Peace & Harmony That You Must Attend

Surrounded by so much commotion and stress in today's time, it is quite important to have a few moments in peace. Attending a spiritual event like Chaturveda Swahakar Mahayajya which is being organized for the first time in the world on a Grand Scale by Vishva Hindu Parishad & Ashok Singhal Ji Foundation, Supported by Jhandewalan Devi Mandir. This Mahayajya is being held to promote peace and harmony among society. In Hinduism Mahayajya has a great importance in self-purification and refinement. The fume that comes out of the Havankund during yajna helps in eradicating epidemics and other deadly diseases in the environment. This helps in staying strong both mentally and physically.

Vedas are believed to be the earliest literature in the world. Vedas are the highest scriptures of Hindu religion. It is believed that on the basis of the Vedas all the other religions of the world came into existence and propagated knowledge of Vedas in different languages in their own way. The word Veda is derived from the Sanskrit verb "Vid", meaning "It teaches all kinds of knowledge”. The ancient Indian sages, who were called mantradrishtas, meditated upon, understood the mystery of the eternal facts, introspected to comprehend the most perfect knowledge and presented the same in the form of scriptures to the world. These ancient scriptures were called "Vedas". There is also a belief that the Vedas were pronounced by the God to be listened by the ancient sages; therefore the Veda is also called "Shruti".

From the subtle to the knowledge of all the substances, there are 10,522 Mantras in the Rigveda. It is the first portion of Veda containing pious wisdom. In its 10 chapters, there are 1028 Sukts, containg 11 thousand mantras. There are 5 branches of this Veda - Shakala, Bashkala, Ashvalayana, Shankhayana, Mandukyayana. There is much more than the geographical position and mantras for the invocation of the gods. In the Suktas of the Rigveda, the description of the deities, praises and their position in Devlok are described. It also contains information about water therapy, air therapy, solar therapy, human therapy and medical care by Havan.

Yajus means appeasing the Deities by worshipping. It denotes dynamism. Besides the know-how of Yajurveda supplies inspiration to perform finest karmas. In the Yajurveda, the mantras used in the Yajnas, processes applied in the Yajnas and the knowledge of the elements therein is also described. This Veda is spiritual. In this there are mantras for the actual process of religious procession.
